About us
Brightside and Wincobank Parish is several Church of England churches working closely together. As a community of Christians we meet throughout the week.
We aim to be:

Where we can be part of a community of all ages and backgrounds.
A place to explore the Christian faith.
We seek to offer everyone a chance to explore the Christian faith. Our Start courses are a great way of doing this as well as a great way to get to know others in the church! Do also check out our Exploring Christianity Page.
A place to follow God’s ways.
Whether new in the faith or whether we’ve been a Christian for years our aim is to encourage one another to follow God.
A place to serve.
A place where we can know the joy of using our gifts and talents to make a difference to others in the church and in the wider community.

A place where we enjoy sharing the good news of God’s love with others in our local area and beyond.
A place to worship.
A place where we can give thanks and praise to God our maker remembering: The Lord is good; his love is eternal and his faithfulness lasts forever.
