It would be a privilege for us to accompany you through some of life's biggest moments. Whether that is a celebration of life through baptism, celebration of love through a wedding, or the thanksgiving of a loved one who has died through a funeral.
We have a life events enquiry form at the bottom of this page, if you wish to discuss details about any of these services.
Baptisms (Christenings)
Whether it happens as a child, young person, or an adult, baptism is a celebration of new life in Jesus! It symbolises the start of a journey of faith as follower of Jesus. We offer both baptisms for people of all ages!
For a baptism of a child (christening), it is a special moment to give thanks to God for your child. It symbolises the start of the journey of faith, and a moment when they are welcomed into God's family. The Church of England Christening page can tell you more about christenings, and other details such as how to choose a godparent.
Weddings
Marrying in church is personal, meaningful, spiritual and beautiful, just as you want it to be! We would love to celebrate this special moment in your relationship with you, and see your relationship blessed by God.
If you're wondering how to make a start on all the planning and preparations for the service, the Church of England Wedding page can tell you all about what it is like to marry in a Church of England church.
Funerals
If someone you know and love has died, a funeral can be led by one of our ministers. Either in one of our churches, by a graveside or at a crematorium. One of our ministers can be there to support you every step of the way.
The Church of England Funeral page can help you begin the arrangements you need to make for a funeral.
